This is the statement of general plan and setups for Safeland Security Ltd. We have total and final duty for the day-to-day effect and grip to the Health and Safety Plan.
Statement of General Policy Action/Arrangements
Stop mishaps and cases of work-linked bad health by bossing the health and safety risks in the workplace. Vital risk audits done and steps coming out of those audits put in place. (Risk audits are checked when working habits or states shift.)
Give clear orders and info, and enough coaching, to ensure staff are fit to do their work. Team and junior firms are given vital health and safety startup and provided with right coaching (including working at height, dust care, and electric safety) and private shielding gear. We will ensure that fit setups are in place to cover staff busy in work far from the main firm site.
Join and talk with staff on day-to-day health and safety states. Team often talked to on health and safety matters as they rise, but also formally met at steady health and safety act review meets or sooner if needed.
Put in crisis steps – exit in case of fire or other big event. You can find help with your fire risk audit at: https://www.gov.uk/workplace-fire-safety-yourresponsibilities. Escape paths are well marked and kept clear at all times. Exit plans are tested from time to time and updated as needed.
Keep safe and healthy working states, give and keep plant, gear, and tools, and ensure safe storage/use of items. Toilets, washing spots, and drinking water are given. A system is in place for routine checks and testing of gear and tools, and for ensuring that step is fast taken to fix any flaws.
